John Henry Roberts is a member of Strawdog Theatre Company, where his credits include Old Times, Cherry Orchard (both directed by Kimberly Senior), Aristocrats (directed by Rick Snyder, Non-Equity Jeff Nomination, Actor in a Supporting Role), Detective Story (directed by Shade Murray, Non-Equity Jeff Award, Ensemble), After Miss Julie and The Night Season (both directed by Elly Green). Other recent credits include: The Little Flower of East Orange (Eclipse Theatre, Non-Equity Jeff Nomination, Actor in a Principal Role), Neverwhere, Miss Holmes (Lifeline Theatre), Diamond Dogs, The Hammer Trinity (The House Theatre), in which he shared the stage with his daughter, the actress and blogger Ada Grey.
