• Writers Theatre stands as an anti-racist organization in love, peace and unity in this vital call for justice in a time of immeasurable injustice.

We believe that words have the power to make change, and now is the time to make our collective voices heard as we strongly denounce racism, hate, violence and any violation of basic human rights. The killing of George Floyd exposes the systemic racism still so prevalent in our country, and it is our collective responsibility to seek immediate and lasting change. That begins not only by speaking out, but by listening. We vow to do both. To our friends, colleagues, artists, staff, audiences and communities of color – we hear you, we see you, we stand with you.

  • For home, for now. Together, when it's time.

Writers Theatre is excited to announce changes to the company’s 2020/21 Season, to include additional digital programming and updates to previously announced productions.

  • At Writers Theatre, your health and safety is our first priority and we will not reopen until it is safe for our audiences, artists and staff. We have developed a three-pronged strategy to guide our reopening procedures when the time is right: PREPARATION, PROTECTION, PROTOCOL.
