Laura Rook

At Writers Theatre: The Liar

Chicago credits include: Kyra in Skylight (Court Theatre), Juliet in Short Shakes! Romeo and Juliet (Chicago Shakespeare Theater) and work with Bohemian Theatre, Muse of Fire Theater Company, Silk Road Rising, Infamous Commonwealth and XIII Pocket. Favorite Regional credits include: Cressida in Troilus and Cressida (American Players Theatre), Romeo and Juliet and The Winter’s Tale (Illinois Shakespeare Festival) and three seasons with Montana Shakespeare in the Parks and Schools. Rook holds a BFA from the Chicago College of Performing Arts at Roosevelt University, and is represented by Paonessa Talent. Thanks to Bill for always believing in me, to my incredible family for supporting me, and to Steve, for loving me.
