She is currently a resident designer at Albany Park Theater Project, where she has designed all their productions since 2013. In 2014, she was honored to receive The Michael Maggio Emerging Designer Award of The Michael Merritt Awards. Izumi is a proud member of United Scenic Artists, Local USA 829, and MFA in Stage Design, Northwestern University.
