Lauren has over ten years of experience as a Teaching Artist, Arts Administrator, and Director for and with young people. Prior to joining Writers Theatre, Lauren served as the Education Director at Florida Repertory Theatre. Under her leadership, Florida Rep's Education program saw a growth of 115% within two years reaching up to 25,000 young people across Southwest Florida. After completing an M.A. in Applied Theatre from The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama in London, Lauren's London credits include working on projects and as an arts administrator with The Young Vic, The Hampstead, Tender Education and Arts, and Stagecoach Theatre Arts. As a Freelance Teaching Artist in Chicago, Lauren worked with Auditorium Theatre, Writers Theatre, Adventure Stage Chicago, Dream Big Performing Arts and Actors Training Center. Favorite directing credits include Romeo & Juliet, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, The Red Badge of Courage, and The True Story of the Three Little Pigs (Florida Repertory Theatre), Happily Ever After (Hampstead Theatre), Peter Pan and Hairspray (Stagecoach Theatre Arts).
