Daniel joined Writers Theatre in March of 2013 as the Development Coordinator. In that role, he oversaw all support processes for the Development department, including database management, special event assistance, and organizational projects for both capital and annual fundraising initiatives. In August of 2015, Daniel was promoted to Advancement Manager, retaining many of the same responsibilities and overseeing the Annual Fund and Development intern programs. In July of 2016, Daniel stepped into the new role of Manager of Individual Giving & Donor Relations, where he continues to manage the Annual Fund, part of the Director’s Society, and all donor benefits and recognition procedures. Prior to WT, Daniel served as the Executive Assistant at Victory Gardens Theater, where he directly supported the theatre’s Artistic and Executive Directors, managed the intern program and facilitated visits from out-of-town artists. Daniel also interned with theatre publicist, Cathy Taylor Public Relations, and has a rich history in stage management from productions at Indiana University to a 2011 pre-Broadway run of White Noise in Chicago.
