Barbara E. Robertson returns to Writers’ Theatre with joy. Here, she premiered The Detective's Wife (Jefferson Award). As a grateful union member, Barbara has received numerous awards and nominations, playing in productions on stages such as Paramount, Firebrand, Steppenwolf, Goodman, Chicago Shakespeare, Lookingglass, Rivendell, Marriott, Court, Broadway Playhouse, ATC, Mercury, Drury Lane, Royal George. She recently opened the premier of The Angel Next Door in California, and played in touring companies of Wicked and Angels in America I & II. She can be seen on television in Somebody, Somewhere, and in films directed by Robert Altman and David Lynch.
