Hannah Wien

At Writers Theatre: Manual Cinema's Christmas Carol

Hannah Wien has worked at more than a few theatres around the city, but is thrilled to be working with Manual Cinema for the first time. Having designed shows at Trapdoor Theatre (Medeamterial), Oil Lamp Theatre (Failure: A Love Story, and soon to be Almost Maine), Rough House's House of the Exquisite Corpse and more, she's a big fan of making things light up in cool ways. Alongside her theatrical design work, Hannah also designs for dance at companies such as Alluvion, The Athanaeum Cultural Center, and more. More than anything, Hannah is really excited to be working on something as new and exciting as what Manual Cinema does. It seems to be a puppet-filled year for Hannah and watching the talent and craftsmanship that goes into creating a show such as this is definitely a point of inspiration. Hannah would like to thank her friends, her family, her partner, and especially her good colleague Trey for bringing her onto this project.
