Ashley Honore
At Writers Theatre: The MLK Project
Ashley Honore has been working as an actor and teaching artist in the Chicagoland area for the past 8 years. She has worked on stage with Chicago Children’s Theatre, Chicago Dramatist, and Court Theatre. As a teaching artist Ashley works all over the city with several theatres/programs such as Congo Square, Northlight Theatre, Steppenwolf, Victory Gardens and Writers Theatre. She recently wrote and directed a children’s play for the Chicago Fringe Festival and received a DCASE Grant to take it on tour to Chicago's south and westside communities. She has assistant directed for Emerald City, Chicago Children’s Theatre and Court Theatre and recently directed the World Premiere of Leavings for Polarity Theatre Company. Much love and thanks to her family and friends for always supporting and nurturing her dreams, especially her hubby, who dared to dream with her.
