Annual Fund gifts up to $999 support Writers Theatre general operations, which include the productions on both of our intimate stages, our Education Outreach programs that reach 10,000 underserved young people every year, and our Literary Development Initiative, giving today’s playwrights the support they need to bring new works to fruition on the Writers Theatre stage. SUPPORTER ($75 - $199)

  • A subscription to The Brief Chronicle, the Writers Theatre newsmagazine

FRIEND ($200 - $299)

A subscription to The Brief Chronicle, plus:

  • Recognition of your gift in the program books during the entire season
  • Voucher for discounted concessions at Writers Theatre productions

promoter ($300 - $499)

All the above benefits, plus:

  • Donor Rewards card for significant discounts at preferred area businesses

ADVOCATE ($500 - $999)

  • Invitation to a backstage tour and open house reception

DIRECTOR’S SOCIETY

Director’s Society membership is reserved for donors who make a contribution to Writers Theatre of between $1,000 and $14,999. In appreciation of the unwavering dedication that comes with such support, members of the Director’s Society receive increased recognition and invitations to exclusive events that bring the Writers Theatre process to life:

benefactor ($1,000 - $2,499)

All the benefits of Annual Fund donors, plus:

  • Invitations to interact with WT artists at a special "behind-the-scenes" Director's Society event during the season
  • Invitation to an exclusive VIP dinner and sneak preview of the season
  • Recognition as a Director's Society member during the entire season in the production programs and in the theatre center's Atrium

PATRON ($2,500 - $4,999)

All the benefits above, plus:

  • Access to the theatre center's exclusive Patrons Lounge
  • Opportunity to purchase and exchange your tickets with ease through our VIP ticket concierge
  • Invitation for two to one (1) Opening Night performance and cast celebration during the season

Leader ($5,000 - $9,999)

All the benefits above, plus:

  • Invitation for two to two (2) Opening Night performances and cast celebrations during the season
  • Opportunity to join a consortium of individuals in sponsoring one Writers Theatre production, which includes many additional special benefits

VISIONARY ($10,000 - $14,999)

All the benefits above, plus:

  • Invitation for two to three (3) Opening Night performances and cast celebrations during the season
  • Invitation for two to a private Visionary dinner in the theatre center's exclusive Patrons Lounge
  • Opportunity to attend a final dress rehearsal and get an insider's look at one of the season's productions before its public debut

ARTISTS COUNCIL

The Artists Council is a select group of Writers Theatre’s most devoted supporters. Council members demonstrate exemplary leadership by supporting Writers Theatre with a donation of $15,000 or more. As Writers continues to present the best in today’s theatre, bringing audiences together for everything from classics to World Premieres, Artists Council members enjoy benefits that speak to their extraordinary devotion to the future of American theatre.

In addition to all the privileges associated with membership in the Director’s Society, Artists Council members enjoy:

  • Invitation for two to all Opening Night performances and cast celebrations during the season
  • Invitation to a private dinner with Artistic Director Michael Halberstam, where you can discuss the creative process and the Theatre's vision for the future
  • Opportunity to attend a first rehearsal with the creative team and hear a read-through of the script
  • Opportunity to join a consortium of individuals as an Artists Council Sponsor of a Writers Theatre production, which includes many additional special benefits
