Our education programs have served more than 30,000 students throughout Chicagoland. We are dedicated to providing affordable arts education programs that:

The Carol Marks Jacobsohn Arts & Education Program at Writers’ Theatre includes Write On!, an artist-in-residency program that brings students and Writers’ Theatre’s artists together to explore classroom studies, and The MLK Project: The Fight For Civil Rights, a touring outreach performance that chronicles a student’s journey through the Civil Rights Movement.

Enrichment programming includes: From Page to Stage, a free, public collaboration between Writers’ Theatre and North Shore libraries that explores the literary and theatrical themes of our stage productions, and our pre-show lectures and post-show discussions.

Writers’ Theatre also offers exciting internship opportunities in the areas of development, marketing and communications, education and theatre administration.
