Season Ticket Package Benefits

Writers’ Theatre offers ticket packages that fit your busy schedule. Choose between a Subscription (select your dates at the beginning of the season and keep the same seats for every show) or a Membership (guarantee your seats for each production and select performance dates throughout the season).

For the 2012/13 Season Writers’ offers a new way to guarantee tickets for all 5 productions.  Our Premiere Subscription or Membership allows you to see all 5 productions at the best price available! Click here for details.

Only Subscribers/Members are able to exchange their regularly scheduled tickets for another performance of the same production with no additional fees. Exchanges can be made by phone, fax or in person up to 48 hours before your scheduled performance.

*Tickets returned less than 48 hours prior to the performance will be accepted in exchange for standby tickets to any future performance of the same show.

Share the Writers’ Theatre experience with friends and family! Subscribers and Members have exclusive access to purchase additional tickets for any production before they go on sale to the general public.

Courtesy emails are sent out to all Subscribers and Members one week prior to scheduled performances. Additionally, Members receive email reminders of their Advance Booking Periods before tickets go on sale to the general public.

Get a behind-the-scenes look at upcoming productions and what’s happening backstage with the exclusive Subscriber/Member newsmagazine, The Brief Chronicle, mailed directly to your home prior to each production.

Pre and post-show lectures and discussions are available during the run of each production hosted by Writers' Theatre artistic staff and guest scholars. Take the opportunity to gain deeper insight and further explore the world of the play. Consult each performance calendar for specific dates and times.

Conveniently located in Glencoe on Chicago's North Shore, ample street parking is available on Tudor Court, Vernon and Park Avenues surrounding both of our performance venues, with over 600 free parking spaces within a three minute walk of the Theatre.
