How will I know where my performance is?
The performance venue in which a show is being performed is listed on your performance ticket. You can also find the location of the performance by visiting the Box Office section of the website. Writers' Theatre has two performance spaces in Glencoe: 325 Tudor Court and 664 Vernon Avenue. Three of the four season productions are performed at 325 Tudor Court and the other is at 664 Vernon Avenue.
Where is the Box Office located?
The Box Office is located at 376 Park Avenue in Glencoe. Look for the silver Writers' Theatre sign above the windows. For a map, please visit the Transportation and Parking section of our website located under “Visit Us.”
Where can I park?
Both performance spaces have convenient street parking and there is also a shopper's lot across from Einstein Bros. Bagels on Vernon Avenue which is available after 5 p.m. For a map, please visit the Transportation and Parking section of our website located under “Visit Us.”
I require additional seating assistance. How can I be accommodated?
If you use a wheelchair and would like to stay in it for the performance, please contact the Box Office at least 24 hours before the performance. Our Tudor Court venue has a ramp for added accessibility. Handicapped parking spaces are available at both of our venues. If you do not use a wheelchair but will require additional assistance in finding your seat, please plan to arrive early so our staff may best assist you. We also have large-print programs and copies of the script for all our shows available for our patrons upon request. If you are able to notify us in advance, we will do all can to accommodate your needs.
How can I become a member?
If you were a member or subscriber last year, then you should receive a renewal packet in the mail. To renew, simply complete the invoice and either send it or fax it back to us. You can also renew over the phone by calling 847-242-6000. To become a member, please click here or call the Box Office at 847-242-6000 to request additional information.
What days and times do the performances run?
Performances run Tuesday and Wednesday at 7:30 p.m.; Thursday and Friday at 8 p.m., Saturday at 4 p.m. and 8 p.m. and Sundays at 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. There are 2 p.m. matinees on select Wednesdays. For a complete schedule, please click here.

I'm running late to the performance. Will I still be seated?
Due to the intimate nature of our performance venues and to ensure the safety of our patrons and cast members, patrons who arrive after the performance has started may only be seated at the discretion of House Management. Additionally, if you leave the theatre during the performance, you will not be re-admitted until intermission.
Can I take pictures or video of the performance?
The taking of photographs and the use of any type of recording device are not allowed in the theater during performances and are violations of state and federal copyright laws. Tape or film will be confiscated.
Can I purchase tickets online?
There is a calendar of selected dates that have tickets available which you can purchase online by clicking here. Please note that the dates available online may not be the same dates available through the Box Office. If you cannot locate your choice of performance date, please call the Box Office at 847-242-6000.
I left my wallet in the theatre! Who do I contact?
Lost and found information may be exchanged at the Writers' Theatre Box Office, 376 Park Avenue, Glencoe. Please call 847-242-6000 for further information. We apologize, but Writers' Theatre is not responsible for any items lost at either of our performance venues.

Can I exchange my tickets for another date?
Only subscribers and members may exchange their tickets, if you have purchased tickets and you are not a subscriber or member, you may donate your tickets back to the theatre for a tax deduction or simply give them to friends. To become a member today, click here.
