  A series just for you, our subscribers, members and supporters!

   

  Ever wonder what goes on behind the scenes of the shows you love? Ever wonder as you gaze at an intricate set, or a beautifully crafted costume, or a dazzling lighting effect – just how they do that? Well now’s your chance to satisfy your curiosity. With The Making Of… Series, as a Writers' Theatre Subscriber you can get an insider’s glimpse of the many processes and people that go into the work you see on stage.

   

  For each production in the 2010/2011 season, we will offer insight into a different aspect of creating theater to a group of Writers' Theatre patrons.  Enjoy refreshments during a short and lively presentation by our designers and other experts, who will walk you through the process of preparing for and executing a show.

   

  Save the date for our kick-off event in The Making Of… Series! on Monday, October 18, 6:30-7:30pm, on our Tudor Court stage. Don’t miss what promises to be an enlightening and fun look behind the scenes of Writers’ Theatre. Set Designer Jack Magaw will talk about his design for SHE LOVES ME, and give you an opportunity to ask questions.
